Relief in insurance contribution payments


Due to the "Iron Swords" war, there will be no foreclosures in that period for those who failed to pay insurance contributions.
Furthermore, a deadline extension will be granted to file appeals and documents in relation to deduction audits, this until further notice and based on further assessments of the security situation.

Self-employed workers and non-working individuals

  • Those who have paid insurance contribution advances, that were due on 15/10/23 and 15/11/23 until 31/12/2023 - will receive automatically a cancellation of all fines and interests related to the payment overdue.
  • Debits made through permanent order of insurance contribution advances that was due on 15/11/23 - will be postponed for those entitled to postponement by law (in Hebrew), and carried out in the month of December instead of November.

Employers

  • Employers whose deduction files are handled in branches of Ashkelon, Ashdod, Rechovot and Beer Sheva, will pay insurance contributions for the months of 9/23 and 10/23 (which payment is due on 15/10/23 and 15/11/23, respectively) until 31/12/23 - will receive automatically a cancellation of all fines and interests related to the payment overdue.
  • Employers whose deduction files are handled in branches of Nahariyya and Safed, will pay insurance contributions for the month of 10/23 (which payment is due 15/11/23) until 31/12/23 - will receive automatically a cancellation of all fines and interests related to the payment overdue.
  • Exemption of report and payment of insurance contributions for employees on unpaid leave : Due to the Iron Swords war we have granted an exemption of report and payment of insurance contributions for employees on unpaid leave in the months of 10-12/2023. If this determining situation continues the exemption will be extended accordingly.
    The employer who sent a report on ongoing unpaid leave for the month of 10/23 - the report will be deleted from the system, and going forward the system will block any report on ongoing unpaid leave for the months of 10-12/2023.
